Printed Motion is a research project on automated video microscopy using various printed medias.

+Prismatic Distortion - ATLAS

Prismatic Distortion - ATLAS is a series of still photographs inspired by the phenomenons observed at the sub-atomic levels in high energy collisions as created at the Large Hadron Collider. Particle interaction, imbalance and anihilation. At this level nothing makes sense.

    *Electroforming and crystallization research with Copper Acetate


    Research on how to recycle DIY acetic acid+peroxyde PCB etching solution with artist Stephanie Castonguay.

    Electro plating was produced on a graphite electrode.
    Electroforming was done on a tin soldering wire.

    +Ibrida*Pluri III - 60W Laser Movement

    60W Laser movement is an improvised performance curated by the artist collective GROOP*INDEX for the 3rd edition of the Ibrida*Pluri festival.

    Every frame is a long exposure of a piece of marble being engraved by a 60W CO2 laser cutter.
    Toolpath generated in Inkscape.
    Images and animation produced with Processing.
    Music by Jonathan Parant (Feu Therese, Fly Pan Am, k.a.n.t.n.a.g.a.n.o.) and Julie Richard (Gypsy Kumbia Orchestra).
